Rei do Pitaco launches first Brazilian fantasy for women's football

Rei do Pitaco, the leading daily fantasy game platform in Brazil through which users build lineups using professional football leagues as a basis and score according to the statistical performance of these athletes in real-life matches, has just announced the creation of a fully dedicated League to women's football during the category's Copa America.

With this, the sportstech becomes the first Brazilian fantasy game to make women's football games available on the platform. “Rei do Pitaco aims to encourage more and more sport and diversity on and off the pitch. Therefore, monitoring and making available women's football leagues on our platform is essential to achieve this goal,” explains the company's communication manager, Leticia Franco.

Starting this Thursday (7), users of the platform can now scale their teams with the players in the competition. In all, there will be seven games covered, including the four of the Brazilian team in the group stage, in addition to the two semifinals and the final.

The debut of Women's Football at Rei do Pitaco takes place this Saturday (9), at 9 pm, in the match between Brazil x Argentina for the Women's Copa America, which will be held in Colombia.

The entrance ticket costs R$ 10 and the total value of the prize is R$ 5,000. “Sport is versatile and must be inclusive. Our action seeks to bring app users a new vision of women's football, showing that plurality must be recognized and respected by all,” concludes Franco.
