The Chamber of Deputies can vote today (3) on Bil 1561/20, originally presented by deputies Capitão Wagner and Guilherme Mussi and that authorizes the Executive Branch to create the “Health Lottery” to finance actions to prevent and combat the effects of the covid-19 pandemic. The project is the 29th topic on the agenda.

The Billwas approved more than a year ago in the House and provided for the implementation of lotteries of numerical predictions, but the senators included the possibility of sports predictions and fixed-odds bets.

In the proposal approved by the deputies, the contests would be carried out by Caixa Econômica Federal. But the senators decided that the lotteries would be implemented by the private sector.
