With a total prize pool of BRL 40,000 (USD 7,800), the competition will involve teams from Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, the United States, Israel and Italy in the men's category. In the female division, Natalia Guitler and Vanessa Tabarez will seek to defend their title against the best duos from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Goiás and Rio Grande do Sul.

The event will serve as the opening of the Venice Beach Club, a new meeting point for São Paulo residents in Tatuapé, east of the capital. In addition to court games, the place offers space for children, gym, physiotherapy, bars, restaurant, shops and entertainment.
