WSOP Circuit Brazil 2022 to have US$ 1.15m guaranteed and classic ring as prize

With the official confirmation of the return of the WSOP Circuit Brazil to São Paulo after two years, the complete schedule has been released by the organization with incredible news for players. The edition takes place next October 20-26 and promises great action during seven days, with different tournaments that, together, guarantee no less than R$ 6 million (US$ 1.15m) in prizes. Among them, 12 have the WSOP ring as a reward.

The first day of the festival starts with the popular Brazilian Storm. This year, the tournament buy-in will be R$1,000 (US$ 195) and will have R$750,000 (US$ 145k) guaranteed. On the second day, Friday (21), starts the Event #6 (Ladies NLH), an event that has been a real success and each year has surpassed the previous edition. In addition to the R$50,000 (US$ 9,700) guaranteed, the festival's most exotic ring will be up for grabs.

With the promise of attracting a huge field for its affordable buy-in (worth R$700 – US$ 135), Event #24 (NLH Last Shot Turbo) is one of the highlights of the grid, as it will be worth one of the rings in the series. Another news that promises a lot of action is Event #3 (NLH One Day KO). Round 1 matches, in addition to the guaranteed prize pool, lead to Round 2, a heads-up match for one of the coveted rings.

Day 1A of the Main Event, with a buy-in of R$ 4,000 (US$ 780) and R$ 2.5 million (US$ 485k) GTD, starts on Saturday, the same day as the start of Event #11 (8-Game Mix), which will also have a ring in dispute. It is worth remembering that, over the first four days of the festival, players will be able to participate in satellites that guarantee seats for the Main Event, High Roller and Super High Roller. In total, R$ 360,000 (US$ 70,000) will be guaranteed in vacancies.


On Sunday, the emotions are on account of Events #14 (Seniors), #15 (NLH Turbo Big Stack), which has a buy-in of R$1,500 (US$ 290) and entitles to a stack of 60,000 chips, and #16 (NLH Turbo PKO), with blinds of 15 minutes and entries of R$ 2,000 (US$ 390). In the latter, registered players will start with a stack of 30,000 chips.

The following day marks the start of two other ring events: #19 (High Roller) with R$750,000 GTD (US$ 145k) and #20 (Monster Stack), with a prize pool of at least R$400,000 GTD (US$ 78,000). Tuesday is the day of #22 (PL Omaha), with R$100,000 (US$ 19,500) guaranteed and tickets at R$2,000 (US$ 390).

To finish the festival on Wednesday, two more ring events are scheduled. #23 (6-max PKO) takes place at 2pm (Brasilia time) and an hour later #24 (Last Shot Turbo) starts. Remembering that the champion of the points ranking and the winner of the Main Event guarantee a spot in the Global Championship, which takes place in Cherokee, in the United States, and gives the player the chance to compete for the incredible bracelet of the world series.
