The PPP Executive Secretariat, linked to the State Secretariat for Planning, Budget and Management – SEPLAG of Paraíba, coordinated a meeting on the betting market in Brazil and the structuring of concession projects in this area.
The meeting, held via videoconference, was attended by representatives of BNDES, the Lottery of the State of Paraíba – LOTEP and consultant Edson Kikuchi, from 2S Consultoria, who presented a diagnosis on the market for prediction games and sports betting, in addition to a summary of the legislation passed by subnational entities in the last twelve months, with the aim of creating their own lotteries.
LOTEP, created and in operation since 1955, is promoting studies to modernize its business model, which provide for the development of new products, and should become a reference, considering its innovative character.
