The Brazilian Snooker League, a championship organized by BMS and which brings together some of the main names in snooker in Brazil, held a special tournament last week, called “Super Desafio Betway: Baianinho vs Felipinho”, which had more than R$ 400 thousand (US$ 76,000) in total prizes and brought together 111 thousand people simultaneously during the broadcast that also featured a live reaction from the steamer Casimiro.

BMS handles eSports production for Liga NFA — the biggest independent Free Fire tournament.

The Brazilian Snooker League  s the main tournament of the category in Brazil and was renamed LBS Betway at the end of June, when the entity started to have the bookmaker as its master sponsor.

Last week, the snooker table boiled, with two of the main athletes of the category, Baianinho and Felipinho, who competed in an exciting final that featured special and real-time odds from Betway for the event, according to the performance of each player. Baianinho's victory was decided in the last ball and had a peak of 111 thousand people and a live reaction from Casimiro, also a partner of Betway.

With a total prize pool of R$ 400,000 (US$ 76,000), the event attracted the attention of snooker lovers and, according to Samuel Gonçalves, partner and commercial director at BMS, it was to be expected given the history of the participants.

“When we have two athletes at the level of Baianinho and Felipinho facing each other, it always ends up attracting a lot of attention. In addition, the event also featured the biggest prize pool in the history of snooker, so the public was dying to be able to follow it up close. It was a set of events that made this edition a success and we are very excited about the future of the sport,” Gonçalves commented.

The next official competition that will bring together the two athletes will be the 2nd edition of the Brazilian Snooker League - LBS Betway, which will start on October 28 with open qualifiers, where anyone can register through the official website. The tournament is also organized by BMS and will bring together the main names of Brazil for an exciting dispute in search of the national title of the league sponsored by Betway.
