Kansas is the most recent US state to approve sports betting and fully launched retail and online betting on September 8, 2022.
Sportradar now holds 40 licenses, or equivalent, in North America across US states, territories, tribes, and Canada, providing its data and services to a wide range of clients operating within these jurisdictions, in order to ensure transparency, integrity and that the most accurate sports data is being delivered to sanctioned sports betting and gaming agencies.
Since its soft launch on September 1, mobile and online betting in Kansas has become possible thanks to third-party providers who have entered into agreements with casinos in the region.
For example, Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kansas, will offer mobile sports betting through Barstool Sports, while Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas, will roll out mobile sports betting through FanDuel.
Boot Hill Casino and Resort in Dodge City will offer mobile betting through DraftKings, and Kanas Crossing Casino in Pittsburg, Kan., will use Caesars, PointsBet and BetMGM. Sportradar has a specific data agreement with BetMGM until 2026.
Sportradar has also entered into data distribution partnerships with a myriad of sports leagues and federations, such as the NBA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, USFL, UEFA, FIFA and ICC.
