The object of the Bidding is the hiring, exclusively within the territorial limits of the State of Minas Gerais, of an experienced and capitalized company to carry out the operational activities inherent to the exploration and operation of lottery games in an online/real time system (iLottery), excluding fixed odds bets, also known as sports betting.
Therefore, electronic games are included in this concession in person (land-based) and digital/virtual (cyberspace), observing the lottery modalities of prediction games provided for in federal and state legislation through the granting of services, through a Public Concession contract, based on Federal Law No. 8,987/95:

The set of documents that support the bidding in the International Public Competition Type Highest Offer modality, consisting of the Notice and its Annexes, especially the Basic Project, can be downloaded, free of charge, on the website www.loteriamineira.mg.gov.br from this Monday, November 13th.
The current Concession, run by the concessionaire Intralot do Brasil since 2010, will end on May 13, 2025. Loteria Mineira's goal, therefore, will be to diligently and cautiously conclude the hiring of the new Concessionaire at least twelve months in advance of the date mentioned, taking care to protect the marketing legacy, embodied in bettors' preference for games from LEMG's active portfolio, in maintaining the commercial strength of the network of sales points of contracted resellers.
The goal is to eliminate any risks to the continuity of the Loteria Mineira's revenue flow, as it is voluntary, non-tax resources that finance the mission of developing citizenship and social well-being.

The Lottery of the State of Minas Gerais, in compliance with the provisions of art. 39 of Federal Law No. 8,666/1993, announces that it will hold the 1st Public Hearing prior to the Bidding Notice for International Public Competition No. 002/2023, Highest Offer Type, for the exclusive granting of the concession of exploration and operation services for Lottery games in an online/real time system (iLottery), in the State of Minas Gerais – Brazil. The Public Hearing session will be held in person, on 11/28/2023, from 10am to 2pm, at Rod. Papa João Paulo II, 4001, Prédio Gerais, 13th floor, room 6, Bairro Serra Verde, Belo Horizonte/MG.
