"We are working hard to give our users the best solutions in the bitcoin casino market"

Edward Ackins is a man with 10 years of experience in the iGaming industry and also at the forefront of creating 5 well-known brands of bitcoin casinos, where he was responsible for marketing and business development. In this exclusive interview for GMB, he talks about the latest news in the gambling world and highlight the new trends that are being formed in it.

Ed has gone from a regular dealer at Caesars Palace Las Vegas casino to an editor-in-chief of the BitcoinCasinoTop website and a CMO at the MMT media group.

Games Magazine Brasil - Hi Ed! Glad to see you. What's up? What's new?
Edward Ackins - Hey! Thank you for inviting me. It's ok, I just got back from the iGB conference in the UK. Gathered a lot of useful contacts and new ideas. Looking forward to when I get back home and start implementing them.

Cool! Tell us about the most mainstream topics that are currently being discussed in the iGaming community.
As you know now there is a lot of noise around ChatGPT and its impact on all work processes. Entrepreneurs are trying to figure out how to implement it in their business, and employees are afraid that artificial intelligence will replace them and they will lose their jobs. But personally, I still don’t think that AI can do it now. We tested it and realized that it is not yet able to fully perform the functions of even an ordinary support worker.

And what do you personally see as a perspective?
Definitely it’s Web3. I really like the idea of this technology, it greatly simplifies the life of all cryptocurrency owners and makes their interaction with any platform easier and more convenient. I think that in the near future gambling platforms that ignore this innovation will be left behind.

What did iGB members complain about the most? I mean the most negative things you've heard from them.
Everyone is very annoyed by what Google is doing now. Paid advertising prices are on the rise. And for all the projects that work with organic traffic, the last year turned out to be just hellish. They release new updates almost every month. Many companies that have invested a lot of money in the development of their sites have been hit hard by this.

Online casino brands began to receive less traffic due to the loss of their own positions, as well as the damage that Google caused to sites that were engaged in affiliate business.

Why do you think it’s happening?
I think it’s due to the fact that Google is losing its leadership position every year. The younger generation is increasingly using Instagram and TikTok to search. I am sure that in the near future the number of Bing's audience will grow significantly due to the introduction of AI functionality. Given all this, Google panics and makes its updates only worse for itself.

Does this only apply to gambling sites?
To be honest, I don't really follow other niches. But I’m a member of several business associations, which include entrepreneurs from different niches, and they are also very unhappy with what is happening. Everyone loses traffic and money. I think this year only the lucky ones will be able to boast of positive dynamics in the annual earnings reports.

Tell us a little about your main project bitcoincasinotop.com - what new features do you plan to implement on your site?
Our team is working hard to give our users the best solutions in the bitcoin casino market. We are in the process of creating a completely new listing format that will allow players to see and analyze all the necessary information about casino providers in one mobile window and make their choice as quickly and confidently as possible.

What about cryptocurrencies? Should bitcoin owners expect a wild rate rise in the near future?
I hope you understand that this is a philosophical question. All I can say is don't be discouraged. I think that the future of the global financial system is definitely connected with cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is often called digital gold and I agree with that. In short - yes, I believe in a bright future for the crypto community.

Thank you very much for your answers. Do you mind if we leave your contacts in this article so that our readers can contact you and get advice?
No problem. Here is my email: [email protected]
But this year I have a very large number of meetings at gambling events planned, so expect that you will have to wait at least 3 days for a response from me.

We want to thank Edward for agreeing to give this interview to our magazine and wish him personal success and prosperity to his project.
