As a way of contributing to charitable organizations, Brabet held an event last Saturday (14) bringing together former players, businessmen, artists, YouTubers and friends of two icons of Brazilian football, Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Cafu. Each was captain of one of the teams competing for the right to donate R$100,000 (US$17,000) to a charitable organization.
The ‘Desafio das Estrelas 2024’ by Brabet, a sports betting and online gaming site accredited by Loterj, was not only sponsored by the Rio de Janeiro state government, but also featured the participation of president Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, who wore the jersey of Cafu's team.
In a night of great harmony and dedication to a social cause, the team of the ‘Capitão do Penta’ (Cafu) won the duel against the team of the ‘Bruxo’ (Wizard, Ronaldinho Gaúcho) by 11 x 9. Both captains scored during the match, although Cafu missed a penalty, which did not detract from his performance on the pitch.
"Magical night. Returning to Pacaembu, this perfect pitch, scoring a goal... When you see that there are so many children and young people in the stadium, it's because the party was worth it. That's what's important, besides having fun on the field, we entertained those in the stands. I think I'm calm for the 90 minutes," Cafu told Cazé TV after the match.
“What an incredible night! I participated in the ‘Desafio das Estrelas Brabet’, a betting house licensed by Loterj, at Mercado Libre Arena Pacaembu, in São Paulo. It was simply unforgettable! I had the privilege of seeing Cafu and Ronaldinho Gaúcho face off in a game of pure magic, and guess what? The victory went to the "Friends of Capita", who defeated the "Friends of R10" by 11 to 9!,” highlighted Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, president of Loterj.
Excited, he said: “The greatest thrill! I entered the field alongside the stars of Brazilian soccer, such as the star Marcos Assunção and the goalkeeper Zetti, as well as other famous people: Mc Kelker, the YouTuber Fred Bruno, the comedian Fausto Carvalho, Menzinho, who played (and very well!). I also met Felipe again, from the São Paulo Lottery, and was interviewed by CazéTV, not to mention the "Macaco do Neymar."
“Congratulations on the Brabet initiative! It was a great goal! A real show of football, wasn't it,” concludes Hazenclever.
Among some of the football stars who participated in the Challenge, names such as goalkeepers Aranha and Zetti, Estevão (a Palmeiras player recently sold to Chelsea), Lugano, Marcos Assunção and Zé Roberto, global ambassador for Betsson.
