Cibelae discusses evolution of sports betting in LatAm, PayBrokers and GLI present in panels

The event will have the active collaboration of two important international actors: the Council of Europe (COE) , an organization dedicated to promoting human rights, democracy and the rule of law; United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports (ULIS) , an organization that supports state lotteries in their mission to ensure integrity and combat crime in sports; as well as representatives of the main regulators, laboratories and supplier companies in the region.

The Cibelae 2024 Conference seeks to reflect the growing relevance and dynamism of sports betting in the region, with an approach that will not only address the opportunities presented by the market, but also the challenges and key strategies for the sustainable development of the activity.

The most effective regulatory models will be explored, considering the diversity of legislative contexts in Latin American countries, as well as the technological trends that are transforming the experience of bettors. Additionally, the social and economic impact of sports betting will be analyzed, highlighting its potential to contribute to the growth of the entertainment industry and generate benefits for local communities. 

Likewise, lines of action will be analyzed to avoid the manipulation of sports results, promoting the need to establish integrity programs that guarantee not only the transparency of betting, but also the credibility of sport in general.

The event will bring together experts, regulators and industry representatives to exchange knowledge, promote good practices and foster collaboration in building a solid, ethical and responsible landscape for sports betting in Latin America.
