América de Natal signs master sponsorship with Rei do Pitaco

Rei do Pitaco becomes the new master sponsor of América de Natal. The brand, market leader in the fantasy game segment in Brazil, debuts in the prime space of the uniform in the first match of the Brasileirão Série D, against Maracanã (CE), on a date yet to be confirmed by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). The brand will occupy prime space on ‘Mecão's’ uniform until the end of the current season.

The sponsorship of the ‘Mecão’ is the brand's first move in this direction in the country, and also includes digital actions, field signs, a box at Arena das Dunas, in addition to more deliveries.

Rei do Pitaco is one of the main supporters of Brazilian football, having sponsored competitions such as the Copa do Brasil, Carioca and Paulista, among other projects in the sport, and has the star Endrick as its ambassador.

With the new contract confirmed, América de Natal now has seven sponsors, five of which have properties on the uniform.

Rei do Pitaco, Unimed, MM Aluguuel de Carros, Óticas Potiguar and Aquacoco are on display. Vitagema and Santa Marian complete the list of current sponsors of the club, in addition to the partnership with Zé Delivery for benefits to fan members, being the first in the Northeast to sign an agreement with the Ambev brand.

“The arrival of our new master sponsor is yet another move that shows the current strength of América de Natal. It is an honor to have a disruptive and innovative brand, such as Rei do Pitaco, as these are characteristics that we are also implementing at the club. We will deliver many new features to Maior,” said América de Natal’s marketing director, Bruno Dias.

With great results on and off the field in the 2024 season, the club has registered six months of the Sociedade Anônima do Futebol, the popular SAF. In September last year, Hipe Capital acquired 80% of the century-old institution committed to investing in restructuring.

Since then, several structural and professional improvements have been made, and more are in progress. On the field, the ‘Mecão’ won their second title in Rio Grande do Norte this month and is preparing to compete in the third phase of the Copa do Brasil, against Corinthians, in addition to seeking access to Series C in 2025.
