Embralote has been operating the instant modality in the State of Paraíba since June 2023 and is now beginning to explore sports betting and virtual online gaming events.
In an official statement, the company's CEO, Eduardo Paiva, said: “LOTEP once again positions itself as one of the pioneering states in exploring this fixed-odd lottery service. We will operate all products of this modality that are permitted by the state and that are provided for in federal law.”
“After the sanction of law 14,790 by the president at the end of 2023, the fixed quota became one of the most important among all lottery modalities, therefore, our operations in Paraíba became even more relevant,” added Paiva.
The authorization was published today (25) in the Official State Gazette authorizing the Embralote SPE in Paraíba to operate. The company that went through the accreditation process and paid a grant of R$ 2 million (US$ 390,000), immediately put the website into operation (pb.embralote.com.br).
LOTEP Superintendent, Francisco Petrônio also commented: “This is another evolution of the Paraíba Lottery. The BETs that are regulated by LOTEP will have all our support and support necessary to conduct and operate this public service of the State, which now has yet another new source of revenue for the people of Paraíba.”
