1xBet, one of the most important sports betting and online gaming operators, was present at BiS SiGMA Americas to further reinforce its brand presence in the sector. National manager Carlos Eduardo Ferreira welcomed GMB for an exclusive interview and highlighted that the company is awaiting final definitions to apply for a license. Winner of another award at the event, he stated that “recognition is important to understand how much we are pleasing the market.”


GMB – How do you evaluate 1xBet's presence at BiS SiGMA Americas?
Carlos Eduardo Ferreira
– BiS SiGMA is a global reference in our industry, and it is very important for our company to travel the globe to these events, showcasing a bit of our work and brand. It wouldn't be any different here in Brazil.

How is your positioning in the Brazilian market now that regulation is in its final phase?
Brazil is very important to 1xBet. We have high expectations for this market and are working hard to increase our presence. We are closely monitoring the regulatory processes. Our company is keeping an eye on any changes from the Ministry of Finance so that when the time comes, we can apply for a license. Our intention and aspiration are to work in this regulated market that we have been eagerly awaiting.

 



From a technical standpoint, is 1xBet ready to operate in the regulated market?
We are basically ready and just waiting for some definitions that do not depend on us but rather on the federal government. Once we obtain these definitions, we will make the necessary changes to be fully prepared to operate in a completely regulated manner.

Today we see 1xBet with brand exposure on LEDs and in Brazil’s football league. How is this work going?
Once again, for the fourth consecutive year, we have acquired the sponsorship rights for Series A and B of the Brazilian Championship, which we consider to be Brazil's greatest asset. Additionally, we sponsor the Brazilian National Team's games in the qualifiers. So, having LEDs in all stadiums and on Brazilian television is very important for our brand. We always strive to be top of mind.

What are the plans to achieve this?
Our plans are to intensify the marketing plan and try to obtain some sponsorships so that we can implement our brand more and more in our users' daily lives.

Exactly. We invite the Brazilian public to get to know our platform. Let them join, register, and I am sure they will really like what we have to offer.

 



Speaking of brand presence and recognition of 1xBet, you were awarded as the best eSports betting provider at the SiGMA Awards. What does this mean to impact your performance in the Brazilian market?
We were honored at the SiGMA Awards with the award for the best eSports betting operator in 2024. Last year, we won as the best sports betting operator. So, it's the second consecutive year that we have raised a trophy. This recognition is important, and we can understand the platform's reach and how much we are pleasing the market.
