“Brazil quickly emerged as an important market for Aviatrix”

Gabriela Novello, head of business development at Aviatrix, highlighted in an exclusive interview for GMB during BiS SiGMA Americas last week her experience at industry fairs and the successes achieved in her first year at the company. She commented the importance of localized content and the rise of Aviatrix in the Brazilian iGaming market. The executive also explored the company's future plans for 2024, including expansion into new regulated markets.

GMB - How was your participation in BiS SiGMA Americas last week in São Paulo? What repercussions did Aviatrix have on users?
Gabriela Novello -
Our participation in BiS SiGMA Americas last week in São Paulo was extremely productive. We had the opportunity to meet new employees, close important deals and highlight Aviatrix's unique characteristics. We received very positive feedback from our partners, who showed great interest in exploring our new features. We are eager to continue growing in Brazil and offering the best features to our customers.

How were the other sector fairs this year? We know that at the SBC Summit Rio, you were invited to moderate a much-needed industry discussion on "Localized Content: The New Concept Among Suppliers, Operators, and Affiliates." How was that experience?
Participating in business fairs like the SBC Summit Rio is always very important for us. The panel I moderated in Rio was especially interesting as it addressed the vital challenges faced by our industry currently. We had a fantastic discussion, delving into the complexity of the diverse Brazilian market and the need for a refined approach to content, while exploring how localization needs to go far beyond simply translating content into the local language.

The panel covered the entire value chain - suppliers, operators, and affiliates - and not only provided valuable context but also initiated ongoing discussion and a spirit of cooperation that will be beneficial for all of us. Localized content is what I truly believe is the key to success; we all need to be mindful of our partners' demands.

Your first anniversary with Aviatrix is coming up soon. What evaluation do you make of this period? What goals have been achieved, and what remains to be done?
What a remarkable journey it has been! To be completely honest, it doesn't feel like just a year because we've accomplished so much in this short period. When I joined, Aviatrix was just starting to gain momentum, but even I was surprised at how quickly things have moved since then.

It's no exaggeration to say we've become something of a global sensation in the world of online casinos in this time. I've lost count of the number of awards Aviatrix has won; we've struck really big partnerships, entered new regulated markets, and constantly improved the game. But we're just getting started! We have a lot more planned.

What features of Aviatrix have made it so popular in Brazil in just one year?
Besides the ability to customize and own an exclusive NFT of the game's aircraft. Brazil has emerged very quickly as a significant market for Aviatrix. I believe the initial success of the game is due to its easy gameplay. Players across the country found it easy to get in and play.

But of course, behind the scenes, a tremendous amount of work has gone into its success. Besides the NFT-based engagement mechanics you mention, we're constantly rolling out new features and functionalities, so Aviatrix is always improving. Recent releases include free bets that can be accessed in-game via promotional codes, and dedicated background themes that adapt to significant events like Christmas or St. Patrick's Day. In Brazil, we also have the support of some fantastic partners who have helped accelerate our growth and put Aviatrix in front of a large audience in Brazil.

We were eager for BiS SiGMA Americas. It was fantastic to see several big business events being launched in Brazil as it creates an environment where we can exchange knowledge, listen and learn, and forge the kinds of partnerships that will allow the Brazilian gaming market to thrive in the coming years.

Aviatrix exhibited at booth C45, and we encouraged delegates to stop by during the event. We were delighted to showcase the product and discuss how we can work together in Brazil and beyond.

What are your overall plans for 2024?
We've quickly established ourselves as major players not only in the crash gaming sector but across the entire online casino industry. But we understand that to maintain this, we need to keep pushing forward.

2024 will be the biggest and best year yet for Aviatrix. One focus area is on regulated markets. We are already licensed or certified in the UK, Greece, Italy, Romania, Georgia, and by the MGA, and we expect to add Portugal, the Netherlands, and Peru soon.

We will also continue to add new features to the game and establish partnerships across the industry so that more people can enjoy Aviatrix.
