“How we treat our customers and a very solid technology are what sets Oddsgate apart”

In the exclusive interview with GMB during BiS SiGMA Americas, Guilherme Graziani, Head of Business Development LatAm at Oddsgate, delved into the world of sports betting and the constantly evolving scenario of the gaming industry. The development manager spoke about the company's presence in Brazil, its difference in relation to other companies, and the short and long term plans along with the challenges and opportunities in the growing Brazilian market.


GMB - This is Oddsgate's first time at BiS SiGMA Americas. What impression does this event in Brazil leave you?
Guilherme Graziani
– We've been here before without a booth, visiting our partners, but this is the first year we have a physical presence. It's been a very good experience. Last year was already a big fair. Now I have the impression and the certainty that it has grown even more. It's a phenomenal event, and our impression has been the best.

Several new clients, the market is heating up, especially with regulation happening soon, which we are supporting and paying attention to new changes in the international scene, but also in the Brazilian national market.

We were with Paulo Lopes at ICE London not long ago. He told us several news, but I want to know if there has been any other since then, any launch that you would like to highlight?
Yes, moving away from the Brazilian market a bit, we obtained necessary certifications to operate in international markets: such as the certification from Romania, from GLI. We are prepared and also attentive to national law, as many things are happening, and the scenario is very dynamic. We are paying attention to this issue, and I think that by the end of the year, we will be 100% ready for regulation.

 

 



How does Oddsgate see the new regulations on sports betting in Brazil? Is it positive or negative for you?
We see this positively because it brings more integrity to our industry and is also a historic milestone not only for our sector but for Brazil as a whole. So, we are happy to be participating, paying attention to all the changes in the scenario.

What could you say is Oddsgate's differential compared to the competition?
Very good question. Many platforms, we have very solid technology. And Oddsgate's differential is the treatment of our customers. We have a Managing Service team, which helps our clients daily and weekly, creating strategies to grow together with us and with our experiences in Brazil, as well as other strategies used in mature, international markets. This is our difference, working together with our client.

And regarding technology, innovation, what are the trends?
In technology, first, we are very focused on complying with all the regulations and also on various other ways of retention. Because the Brazilian market is very good at customer acquisition, but in terms of retention, we are creating new tools and I hope next time we talk to you we can present a more robust solution, there are innovations coming.

 



Guilherme, finally, what markets are you focusing on in the short and long term besides Brazil?
First, we want to consolidate ourselves in the Brazilian sector. It is a group's intention, but we also want to expand operations not only in Brazil but in the LatAm market, in several other regulated jurisdictions where we can also bring our international experience to Oddsgate customers.
