Mateo Lenoble, LatAm Sales Director

“Kambi will adopt the experience applied in Brazil to expand its presence in Latin America”

Mateo Lenoble, Kambi's new LatAm Sales Director, received GMB at SBC Lisbon for an exclusive interview, where he highlighted the rapid implementation of the company's operations in Brazil following the sector's regulation, with the launch of KTO and Stake. 'We focused on local adaptation, and our presence in the country focused on this, ensuring our success at the start of our formal operations. This will allow us to leverage the same experience for our expansion in LatAm,' he stated.

GMB - The first piece of news from Kambi is your arrival as Sales Director for LatAm. What does this mean to you?
Mateo Lenoble
- As you mentioned, I started two months ago at Kambi as Regional Sales Director for Latin America. I’m very pleased to be able to work at Kambi and contribute to the company’s expansion in Latin America.

What other news did Kambi present at SBC Summit Lisboa and what were your objectives in attending the event?
Well, among the news we have two very important ones. One of them is our sportsbook, a turnkey solution, which we are already working on in Latin America with clients such as Badplay, Rushbet, KTO in Brazil, and Stake. Another highlight is our product Odds Feed Plus, through which we provide quotes and odds for our sports betting clients.

My appointment can also be seen as news, since Kambi’s focus in the coming years will be Latin America, and that’s why I joined the company. We are already developing future strategies together and will bring many more new developments.

How did Kambi view the regulatory process that began long ago, with the market officially starting on January 1, and how is it positioned today in Brazil?
Kambi did something historic in Brazil. The regulated market began on January 1, and shortly after Kambi launched KTO. It was very fast and very historic for Kambi. We have extensive experience in regulated markets and are seeking more presence in this market. In the future, we will continue to expand and pursue new partnerships in Brazil and throughout Latin America. The very regulation in Brazil will drive other LatAm markets to continue this process.

Brazil’s regulation places the country among the most robust and strict jurisdictions. Did Kambi need to make major adjustments in terms of innovation and solutions for the Brazilian market?
Exactly. The most important thing is that Kambi understands very well that Latin America is not just one region, but a collection of many countries that are very different from one another. We already had experience working in Colombia, Argentina, and other countries. When entering a new market like Brazil, Kambi adapted to the culture and the country. That’s what Kambi does very well: adapting in each country it enters.

As I mentioned, we launched KTO and Stake in Brazil and business is going very well. The process is running smoothly, and we have great capacity to expand even further in the country.

Do you believe Kambi’s Latin American expansion will be driven by its experience in Brazil?
Without a doubt. Brazil will give Kambi a lot of experience to continue strengthening itself in this unique and massive market. And there’s still a lot of potential, since it’s only just beginning. In the coming years, we will see sports betting continue to grow significantly in the country.

What are Kambi’s plans for the end of 2025 and beginning of 2026?
For the remainder of 2025, we will continue visiting our partners and clients in Latin America, and we are already planning our strategy for the coming years. We will enter the Latin market very strongly and be present at every possible event.
