Rei do Pitaco secures $18 million from PvX Partners to accelerate growth in Brazil

Brazilian fantasy sports and online betting startup Rei do Pitaco has announced a new partnership with PvX Partners, a financial services platform specializing in non-dilutive user acquisition funding. The $18 million investment aims to accelerate Rei do Pitaco’s customer growth and strengthen its position in Brazil’s rapidly evolving gaming market.

Founded in 2019 by Kiko Augusto and Rafael Lasserre, Rei do Pitaco has emerged as one of Brazil’s most efficient and fastest-growing gaming platforms.

In a landscape dominated by global betting giants—often burdened by regulatory challenges and high operational costs—the company has distinguished itself through disciplined execution, proprietary technology, and regulatory compliance.

PvX isn’t investing in another betting company; they’re investing in an efficiency machine that happens to operate in gaming,” said Kiko Augusto, CEO and Co-founder of Rei do Pitaco. “We built our platform from scratch: 100% proprietary, 100% compliant, and 100% focused on user experience.”

Strategic funding for scalable growth

PvX Partners’ $18 million commitment will be structured as non-dilutive growth capital, meaning Rei do Pitaco won’t give up equity. Instead, PvX co-invests directly in the company’s marketing and user acquisition efforts, sharing in the revenue generated by new users up to a pre-defined cap.

Beyond that point, all user lifetime value remains with Rei do Pitaco — a model designed to ensure sustainable, long-term growth.

This marks our first investment in a Brazilian company, and we’re thrilled to expand into Latin America with such a talented team,” said PvX Partners’ management team, emphasizing their growing focus on emerging markets.

A booming brazilian betting market

The deal comes at a pivotal moment for Brazil’s sports betting and fantasy sports ecosystem. As the country moves to consolidate its regulatory framework, international operators and investors have increasingly turned their attention to the region.

Rei do Pitaco — one of the few fully licensed local operators — has positioned itself as a leader through its emphasis on compliance, data-driven user engagement, and locally tailored sports experiences.

Since its founding, the company has grown into a dominant national brand, offering real-time fantasy contests and betting experiences for millions of Brazilian sports fans.

The new funding will allow Rei do Pitaco to scale its marketing operations and expand access to its dynamic platform nationwide.

Rei do Pitaco is a São Paulo-based fantasy sports and online betting company founded in 2019. The platform combines proprietary technology, regulatory compliance, and an immersive sports experience to engage Brazil’s passionate fan base.

PvX Partners is a U.S.-based financial services platform that provides non-dilutive capital to help companies scale through user acquisition. PvX’s co-investment model aligns incentives between investors and operators, supporting efficient and sustainable growth.
