Tasked with leading the Compliance structure of the entertainment giant in Brazil, Dyego will focus on adherence to local regulations, institutional relations with regulatory bodies, and the promotion of a culture of integrity aligned with Flutter’s global standards.
“I’m very excited to lead Flutter Brazil’s compliance efforts, representing strong brands such as Betnacional and Betfair. The goal is to guide Flutter Brazil toward maximum success by meeting Brazil’s regulatory requirements and standards, strengthening both our brands and the industry as a whole,” said Dyego Cabral.
His responsibilities include managing the licensing process and institutional relations with regulators, implementing anti–money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) policies, strengthening responsible gaming and player protection practices, and developing internal policies, training programs, and investigations.
“His arrival reinforces our mission to build a healthy, sustainable, and globally compliant betting market,” said João Studart, CEO of Flutter Brazil.
With more than 12 years of experience in Compliance and regulation, Dyego has worked both in regulatory agencies and the private sector in Brazil, as well as internationally in iGaming. Since 2018, he has lived in Europe, joining Flutter in 2020 through PokerStars, where he gained extensive experience in regulatory compliance across various European and South American markets.
Now, with Brazil’s new regulatory framework in effect, Dyego returns to the country to lead Flutter Brazil’s Compliance division, reaffirming the company’s commitment to player safety, market transparency, and the development of a sustainable betting ecosystem.
Flutter Brazil
Flutter Brazil is one of the largest sports betting ecosystems in the country, born from the merger between NSX Brasil, the Brazilian company behind Betnacional, and Flutter Entertainment, the global leader in the sector and owner of Betfair.
With operations led by Brazilians — ensuring a national identity for its brands and close alignment with the local market, a key factor for effective public and regulatory communication — the company combines cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of Brazilian players, promoting a safe, transparent, and responsible entertainment experience.
