Betnacional confirms sponsorship renewal for Rio Open 2026

Betnacional, a brand that is part of the Flutter Brazil ecosystem, has renewed its sponsorship agreement for the Rio Open 2026, South America's leading tennis tournament and part of the ATP 500 circuit. The event will be held from February 14th to 22nd at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro.

The renewed partnership continues the work initiated in 2025, when Betnacional made its debut at the tournament with fan-focused activations, including an interactive stand, gamified tennis-themed activities, personalized giveaways, and brand presence across key areas of the event.

This strategy strengthened the brand’s connection with tennis fans and aligned Betnacional with the vibrant atmosphere of the Rio Open.

Sports sponsorship is one of the most authentic ways to connect brands and audiences. At the Rio Open, our goal is to go beyond visibility by creating experiences that transform fan engagement. As a supporter of Brazilian sports, our role is to help strengthen the event while generating real value for those who live and breathe sports and entertainment,” said Jorge Peixoto, Head of Events & Sponsorship at Betnacional.

With the renewal, Betnacional expands its engagement potential and prepares new activations for the next edition, which will feature top international names, including Brazilian rising star João Fonseca.

The sponsorship reinforces the brand’s presence at major sporting and cultural events across Brazil, consolidating its strategy of associating with premium entertainment experiences.

The company has also been featured in prominent initiatives such as Big Brother Brasil, Lollapalooza, Maratona do Rio, and Carnaval de Salvador, and currently counts Vini Jr., Nattan, and Galvão Bueno among its ambassadors.

Betnacional

Betnacional, the sports betting platform that is part of Flutter Brazil, has been authorized to operate fixed-odds betting in the country since January 2025 (SPA/MF Ordinance No. 2.092/24). Reinforcing its positioning as “the bet of Brazilians”, the brand invests heavily in celebrating national culture.

It sponsors some of Brazil’s biggest events and shows, including Big Brother Brasil 2025, Rio Open, Lollapalooza, Lauana Prado’s “Raiz” tour, and the Carnaval de Salvador.

Betnacional’s ambassadors include football star Vini Jr., singer Nathanzinho, and iconic sports journalist Galvão Bueno. The brand maintains strong visibility across stadiums and national championships through its partnership with BRAX.

It is also an official sponsor of Futebol 2025 on Rede Globo, master sponsor of Sport Club do Recife, and sponsor of Maratona do Rio 2025. Betnacional promotes the sustainable growth of the betting industry in Brazil and reinforces its commitment to responsible gaming through a partnership with the Brazilian Institute for Responsible Gaming (IBJR).
