Galerabet will host the second edition of the Forum on Awareness and Protection of Online Bettors on October 30. Under the theme “Behind the screen, there are people: Listening to protect, acting to transform,” the event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hilton Morumbi Hotel in São Paulo.
The meeting reinforces the brand’s commitment to promoting Responsible Gaming and addressing gambling addiction by bringing together public authorities, mental health professionals, legal experts, and representatives from the sports betting sector.
Confirmed guests include federal deputies Celso Russomanno (Republicanos-SP) and Dr. Luizinho; Deputy Secretary of Prizes and Betting (SPA), Daniele Cardoso; José Francisco Manssur, a specialist who took part in the regulatory process of sports betting and online gaming in Brazil; and Dr. André Negrão from Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo.
“The Forum is a space for dialogue, reflection, and evolution across the betting ecosystem — a time for the public and private sectors to join civil society in treating betting as entertainment with responsibility, focusing on player protection and care,” said Marcos Sabiá, CEO of Galerabet.
The program will feature three thematic panels addressing the psychological impacts of gambling addiction, the State’s role in prevention, and the legal responsibility of operators. The goal is to create an open environment for dialogue among public officials, experts, and platforms, fostering ethical and sustainable practices within the industry.
In this way, the Forum aims to contribute to the maturity of the market and to the consolidation of an ethical and transparent gambling culture in Brazil.
