Sportradar awarded United Arab Emirate license

Sportradar Group has been granted a gaming-related vendor license from the United Arab Emirates’s General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), an independent entity of the UAE Federal Government with exclusive jurisdiction to regulate, license, and supervise all commercial gaming activities. This important achievement enables the company to provide its services in the country.

The license, operational with immediate effect, affords Sportradar the opportunity to provide its products and services to licensed operators across the United Arab Emirates.

The company joins other licensed suppliers in the jurisdiction, including Aristocrat, Light & Wonder, Novomatic, IGT, EQL Games, Scientific Games, Fennica Gaming, TCS John Huxley, Konami Gaming, Pollard Banknote, Random State and Yolo Group’s Hub88 and Live88.

Sportradar looks forward to bringing its 20+ year expertise and proprietary sports technology to operators and clients in the region.

Wynn Al Marjan is so far the only company to be granted a land-based gaming facilities licence, while the UAE Lottery operator The Game is currently the only lottery licensee.
