Brazil in focus: “Market launch: Key insights and data”
The panel, titled “Brazilian Market Launch: Key Insights and Data,” was held at the Ticiano Room (2305) of the Venetian Hotel as part of the official G2E educational program.
The session attracted a large audience of executives, investors, and regulators interested in learning more about the dynamics of Latin America's largest gaming market.
Moderated by Lindsay Slader, Senior Vice President of Compliance at GeoComply, the panel brought together some of the most relevant voices from Brazil's regulatory and operational ecosystem:
* Fábio Macorin, Undersecretary of Monitoring and Supervision of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA)
* Leonardo Baptista, CEO and Co-Founder of Pay4Fun
* André Santa Ritta, Partner at Pinheiro Neto Advogados
Brazilian regulation at the center of the global stage
Fábio Macorin highlighted the importance of having an international forum like G2E to discuss the advances and challenges of regulation in Brazil.
“At the opening of the G2E 2025 educational program, dedicated to industry executives and professionals, an entire panel was dedicated to the launch of the Brazilian market, where we had the opportunity to discuss our regulatory process, the progress made, and the outlook for the future,” Macorin noted.
The panelists shared an update on the Brazilian regulatory framework, the level of market readiness, and the strategic role that technology and compliance play in building a safe and sustainable environment.

Other topics discussed included consumer protection and responsible gaming, the use of real-time data and analytics-based decisions, growing collaboration between fintechs and betting operators, and the economic and innovation impact of Brazil's new regulated ecosystem.
For many international stakeholders, this session marked the first high-level discussion at G2E dedicated entirely to Brazil's regulated online market, underscoring the central role the country is beginning to play in the sector's global expansion.
Brazil's presence as a featured topic at the show reflects both its market potential and its emerging regulatory maturity, at a time when large providers, fintechs, and international operators are looking to the country as a new frontier for growth.
