“SOFTSWISS accelerates its technology and personalized service to conquer Latin America”

SOFTSWISS attended recent SBC Lisbon to showcase its 15-year history as a leader in the iGaming sector. Darío Leiman, Head of Business Development – LatAm, told GMB exclusively that the highlights were the increased publicity for its licenses in Brazil and Peru, which enables the company to expand further in Latin America, focusing on markets such as Mexico and Colombia. According to him, the company is accelerating its local technology and personalized service.

GMB – What were SOFTSWISS’s highlights at SBC Lisbon?
Darío Leiman – One of the main highlights we’ve been emphasizing is that since early 2025 we’ve been fully licensed for the entire Brazilian market and certified for the Peruvian market. This is very important, as we were among the first to obtain these certifications for our Aggregator and other products, such as the Jackpot, which is part of our gamification suite.

So, this is part of a broader expansion project across Latin America?
Yes, this year we’re placing a strong focus on all of Latin America, particularly regions such as Mexico, Colombia, and Peru, among others. We have the technology, the servers, and account managers who speak the local language and work in the local time zone. So, there are many key factors involved.

SOFTSWISS recently released an interesting study on the Latin American market. What are the main insights about Brazil?
It’s a study called iGaming Trends. We’ve been conducting it for several years now, and it’s not just a SOFTSWISS study—it includes the opinions of many industry professionals, not only from Brazil and Latin America but also globally. We’ll be sharing it widely so professionals can access it, review the findings, and contribute their insights as well.

With 15 years of experience, what can SOFTSWISS bring to the Latin American market?
It’s a learning curve that every company has to go through, and one we’ve already mastered. By being local, the process becomes faster, and we aim to make everything flow more smoothly and efficiently for operators. We’re steadily expanding our local teams in Brazil, Mexico, and across Latin America to meet this growing demand quickly.

How is SOFTSWISS’s progress in Brazil and the rest of Latin America?
We’re very pleased with what SOFTSWISS has achieved with its brands, and we want to keep growing. Our market share has increased significantly with the leading brands in the region, and several new brands will be announced soon—we’re already in advanced negotiations with them.

What are SOFTSWISS’s plans for Brazil over the next three months, through the end of the year and into early 2026?
We’re stepping on the gas, and that’s why we have Rubens Barrichello as our brand ambassador. He’s been accompanying us throughout this process. We’re adding several major brands, some market leaders, others from the second and even third tiers. We’re very happy with all the work being done across the region, especially in Brazil.
