Washington Lemos Filho, responsible for Lottopar's Responsible Gaming department, represented the agency. Participation was made possible thanks to a grant from the World Lottery Association (WLA), a recognition that reinforces the relevance of the initiatives developed by the Paraná lottery in this strategic area.
SRG 2025 brought together lotteries from around the world, public policy experts, researchers, and representatives of international organizations. Over three days, discussions focused on new generations of players (Generations Z and Alpha), prevention strategies for youth and athletes, the use of data for player protection, and the integration of environmental sustainability practices into the lottery sector.
For Washington Lemos Filho, participation represents a milestone for Lottopar. "Being present at an international venue like this, alongside experts and global leaders, broadens our knowledge and strengthens Lottopar's mission of protecting players, ensuring a safe, responsible, and transparent environment for everyone. The lessons learned will be essential to further enhance our Responsible Gaming policies in Paraná," ??he states.
With this presence, Lottopar reaffirms its commitment to aligning with international best practices in integrity, prevention, and social responsibility, consolidating its position as a benchmark in Brazil for Responsible Gaming policies and sustainable management of the lottery sector.
