Representing 70% of the global user base

Flashscore reaches 155 million users, establishes itself as the main source of data for bettors

Sports consumption has changed, and betting is now at the heart of this transformation. While fans previously watched games purely for the thrill, now they follow each play with a different perspective: that of someone analyzing statistics to make real-time decisions. Data and live score apps, like Flashscore, have become indispensable for this audience, which now represents 70% of the platform's user base.

In October, Flashscore, the world’s largest sports statistics app, reached 155 million active users and surpassed 400 million downloads, solidifying its position as one of the leading resources for bettors and sports fans worldwide.

According to Pavel Krbec, CEO of Flashscore, the secret to success lies in combining technology and agility:

All our investments in modern technology and our product portfolio, as well as the daily work of our teams, serve one single goal: to deliver essential sports information to fans at the moment it matters most.”

Surpassing 155 million monthly users shows that our vision is delivering tangible results, and I’m confident that next year we’ll take this milestone even further,” added the executive."

Brazil is one of the platform’s most engaged markets, alongside powerhouses like Italy, France, and the United Kingdom. Among Brazilian users, the use of statistics has grown alongside the boom in betting: personalized alerts, detailed scouting, and real-time comparisons have transformed the way fans follow matches.

The strength of the community is also reflected in the numbers. During the latest El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona, Flashscore recorded 48.5 million users and 2.58 billion views in a single day — the second-highest volume in the platform’s history.

As El Clásico approached, we saw an opportunity for Flashscore to shine — and that’s exactly what happened. 14.7 million people followed the match on our platform, making it the second most-watched game in our history,” Krbec added.

The growth of the global user base was also driven by the acquisition of BeSoccer, which added over 30 million users to the Flashscore ecosystem.

A year under the same umbrella as Flashscore reflects both the strength of our football-focused platform and the power of joining forces with a global leader. Together, we’re building something truly special for football fans around the world,” said Ana Chapado, CEO of BeSoccer.

With the rise of betting and technology, stats apps have evolved from a ‘second screen’ into an essential part of the fan experience. Brazilian users — and increasingly, bettors — want to understand the game in real time, make data-driven decisions, and live the sport with greater intensity.
