Clarion Gaming has launched the Better Stands Initiative, a program encouraging reusable stand structures and offering bronze, silver and gold certification based on defined sustainability criteria. Exhibitors achieving Gold status will also be eligible for the new Most Sustainable Stand award, part of the StandOut Awards.
Applicants must demonstrate sustainable practices, including stand design choices, reduced print material, and travel considerations. Clarion’s sustainability team will shortlist three stands each for ICE and iGB Affiliate, with winners announced on 23 January 2026.
Clarion will also introduce eco-friendly badge wallets for the more than 65,000 expected attendees.
Margaret Dunn, Portfolio Director at Clarion Gaming, said: “Alongside the Sustainable Stand Awards we run a range of initiatives that aim to minimise the environmental impact of our events such as offering eco-friendly badge wallets for the first time at ICE.”
