This surge resulted in an unprecedented milestone: in October, Betano became the first betting company in history to surpass 600 million visits in a single month, closing with 719.9 million— the highest volume ever recorded by a betting operator in Brazil, according to exclusive monitoring by Aposta Legal.
Compared to September, October’s result is 252 million visits higher. The shift occurs precisely after the contract with Flamengo was signed at the end of August.
Two months later, the data shows an unprecedented “Flamengo effect”: Betano’s share of total visits to betting sites in Brazil jumped from 17.2% in August to 22.1% in September and reached 27.0% in October.
In other words, in a short period, the company gained roughly 10 percentage points of market share — a surge in traffic that strengthened Betano’s leadership in the sector even further.
It is important to highlight that this growth does not necessarily mean more new bettors, but rather users accessing the platform more frequently, indicating increased interest, greater brand exposure, and the unprecedented weight of Flamengo in Betano’s digital strategy.

The end of Flabet and the sharp drop in traffic
Betano’s rise coincides with Flabet’s decline, Flamengo’s former operational licensee. With the end of the partnership between Flamengo and Pixbet, the operator behind Flabet, the scenario shifted quickly.
After the termination, anyone trying to access Flabet’s domain is redirected to Ganhou Bet, one of the legal brands operated by Pixbet’s holding company. And the impact was immediate: Ganhou Bet recorded in October a volume 74.2% lower than what Flabet registered in September, showing the steep loss caused by the end of its association with Flamengo.
With Flabet’s exit and Betano’s arrival, Flamengo solidifies a transition already reflected in significant numbers.
