World's largest carnival block

Esportes da Sorte renews sponsorship of Galo da Madrugada

Esportes da Sorte, one of Brazil's leading entertainment platforms, has renewed its sponsorship of Galo da Madrugada, the world's largest carnival block. This will be the fourth year of the partnership, reinforcing the brand's role among the major supporters of Pernambuco's Carnival and highlighting its commitment to valuing popular culture and initiatives that combine tradition, celebration, and socio-environmental responsibility.

With the theme “Frevo on Planet Galo,” the 2026 parade will highlight the importance of environmental preservation and sustainable practices, celebrating Brazil’s natural diversity.

The block, which brings together more than two million revelers along a 6.5 km route through the streets of Recife, has a long history of initiatives focused on recycling, carbon offsetting, and social inclusion — values aligned with Esportes da Sorte’s brand positioning.

For Darwin Filho, CEO of Grupo Esportes Gaming Brasil, owner of the Esportes da Sorte brand, the partnership recognizes the cultural and social relevance of Pernambuco’s Carnival.

“The Galo is a symbol of identity for Pernambuco and for Brazil. Supporting a bloco that gathers millions of people and promotes messages of sustainability and inclusion is a source of pride for Esportes da Sorte. We want to celebrate frevo and the joy of our people, encouraging a Carnival that is more conscious, diverse, and connected to the future,” he says.

The parade will take place on February 14, 2026, with the gathering point at Forte das Cinco Pontas and the route ending at Rua do Sol, in downtown Recife.

Expectations are for a spectacle marked by music, frevo, and environmental responsibility initiatives — a combination of tradition and innovation that Esportes da Sorte is committed to supporting.

Esportes da Sorte is one of the largest sports betting platforms in the country, with 100% national operations and a license granted by the Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF) to Grupo Esportes Gaming Brasil, which also operates the OnaBet and Lottu brands.

The group, certified as a Great Place to Work, is built on pillars such as innovation, a commitment to Responsible Gaming, and support for sector regulation. It maintains partnerships with institutions such as ANJL, IBIA, Sportradar, EBAC, and IAA, reinforcing best practices in integrity and user protection.

In addition to entertainment, Esportes da Sorte invests in sports, culture, and social projects, sponsoring clubs such as Corinthians, Ceará, Ferroviária, and Náutico, and supporting events such as the Recife and Olinda Carnivals and the Parintins Festival.
