First operator to receive approval from Riot

1xBet becomes new sponsor of MIBR's Valorant team

MIBR, one of the biggest names in Brazilian eSports, has become the first organization in Riot’s entire ecosystem to obtain approval for a betting sponsorship with the announcement of 1xBet. The developer’s authorization comes after an extensive compliance process that began early this year, when Riot announced it would open the League of Legends and Valorant markets in the Americas and EMEA to companies in the betting segment.

The partnership with 1xBet already has a successful history within MIBR. Launched in January 2022 in Counter-Strike, it was expanded in early 2025 to include the artists of MIBR Rap Clube and now incorporates the mixed Valorant line-up as another pillar of the agreement. The contract also includes streamer Sacy as ambassador and face of this new phase.

“Being the first organization in the entire Riot ecosystem to obtain approval for a betting sponsorship is a direct result of how MIBR operates today—as a well-structured company with strong governance, clear processes, and policies that place competitive integrity first. This preparation shortened the process,” says Raphael Castanheira, MIBR’s marketing and partnerships director.

With the expansion of the partnership with 1xBet and the addition of the mixed Valorant roster, MIBR closes the year by consolidating its governance model and begins a new phase of activations with Sacy and with its CS, Valorant, and MIBR Rap Clube line-ups.

All initiatives will follow the developer’s policies and best practices in competitive integrity and responsible communication, reinforcing MIBR’s commitment to generating value for the community and for its partners. More details will be shared on the club’s official channels.

MIBR is Brazil’s most traditional eSports organization, with more than 20 years of history and three world titles. More than a team, it is a Brazilian eSports, content, and lifestyle brand that represents the country both inside and outside the servers.

Today, it has seven competitive teams and a diverse roster of content creators. Led by Roberta Coelho, MIBR is a pioneer in inclusion and diversity, leading the women’s movement in eSports since 2010, investing in multiple modalities and creating WIBR, an ecosystem of support and encouragement for women in gaming.
