This progress comes at a time of major changes in the betting market and increasing demand for transparency. The platform offers clear and accessible content on sports integrity, explaining what constitutes match-fixing, how betting markets operate, how criminal groups act, and what sporting, administrative, and criminal consequences are provided for under Brazilian law and by entities such as FIFA. The FPF also tracks participant progress and issues certification upon completion of the modules.
Felippe Marchetti, Sportradar’s Integrity Director for LatAm, stated: “Education is the foundation of prevention. Training 5,500 people in Paraná shows the real impact initiatives like this can have in strengthening sports integrity. The more knowledge and guidance reach athletes and professionals, the better prepared our ecosystem will be to identify risks and prevent match-fixing cases.”
Hélio Cury Filho, President of the Paraná Football Federation (FPF), said: “This partnership reinforces our commitment to education. The Federation believes so strongly in this model that we intend to expand the scope of the courses and include match delegates as well. Sharing information is the best way to prevent problems.”
The initiative adds to the broader set of actions Sportradar has been leading in Brazil. In addition to its partnership with the Ministry of Finance through SPA – the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting – the company has also signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Sports to expand information-sharing and promote integrity training activities.
In 2025, Sportradar also provided training for delegates from the Civil and Federal Police. A trusted integrity partner of organizations such as FIFA, UEFA, and Conmebol, Sportradar in Brazil maintains a close relationship with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), being responsible for monitoring more than 10,000 football matches per season.
