Kaizen Gaming wins “Operator of the Year - Brazil” at the EGR Latam Awards 2025

Kaizen Gaming, one of the world's biggest GameTech companies and owner of the Betano online sports betting and gaming brand, has been crowned “Operator of the Year - Brazil”. The company also won the “Affiliate Programme of the Year” award at the inaugural EGR Latam Awards, held on November 28th in Rio de Janeiro.

Securing the “Operator of the Year - Brazil” award affirms Kaizen Gaming’s leading position in the market, where it is the no 1 operator in terms of market share and brand awareness according to multiple research reports. Additionally, the distinction comes at the end of the first year under Brazil’s new regulatory framework, where Kaizen Gaming was the first operator to secure a license.

Kaizen Gaming has been a firm supporter of the Brazilian sports ecosystem, as the main and title sponsor of both Brasileirão Betano (the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A) and Copa Betano do Brasil (the Brazilian Cup).

Last August, Betano also became the principal and front-of-shirt partner of the new Copa Libertadores winners, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The partnership with the champions of South America also covers the club’s women’s football and Olympic sports. Betano’s brand ambassador in Brazil is former Formula 1 and current Stock Car Racing driver, Felipe Massa.

Furthermore, Betano is deeply committed to Responsible Gaming and Social Responsibility in the country. This year, Betano launched the RG Campaign, “Não Mete o Loco” (Don't Go Crazy) - starring former Uruguayan player Loco Abreu - creating a platform to raise awareness about the importance of Responsible Gaming tools.

Betano Social Responsibility initiatives in Brazil include the Fund 4 programme, launched together with Afroesporte, which supports 10 high-performance Black athletes with a monthly financial scholarship, psychological support, professional mentorship, financial education and social media training  for a full year, as well as support for Laço Rosa Foundation, providing 3,000 free mammograms in various Brazilian cities  and raising awareness on the importance of early breast cancer detection.

Lastly, Kaizen Gaming received the “Affiliate Programme of the Year” distinction for building one of the industry’s most scalable, data-driven, and compliant affiliate programs, with over 1,500 partners across 17 markets.

Guilherme Figueiredo, Kaizen Gaming Commercial Director Brazil, said: "Winning ‘Operator of the Year - Brazil’ at the inaugural EGR Latam Awards is a great honour and a powerful validation of our long-term strategic focus and commitment to the market. It affirms our position as the number one operator and our dedication to responsible, fully regulated operations.

Furthermore, receiving the ‘Affiliate Programme of the Year’ distinction reflects the data-driven excellence of our global teams. These awards are a direct result of our dedication to understanding what truly engages our audience, and we will continue to invest in the region to deliver the most compelling, safe, and customer-centric entertainment experience on the market.
