Iain Hutchison - Our current focus is on our RGS product, called "Relum." It includes some very innovative functionalities, such as multi-provider jackpots and tournaments.
How has Digitain adapted to the new regulations and certifications in the Brazilian market? Also, what is your opinion about the start of regulations here?
We are fully certified for GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) and Knife Casino, as well as Fast Games. Regarding my opinion on regulation, I believe it is a very welcome change.
As long as it is properly enforced, it will help eliminate the black market. Since our company primarily focuses on regulated markets, this is excellent news for us.
Brazil is a highly competitive market. What unique products does Digitain offer to stand out here?
In terms of our sportsbook, we offer a wide range of gamification features. These are particularly designed for players who do not have extensive experience in sports betting, making them ideal for entry-level customers.
Of course, we also provide advanced features for more experienced users, but gamification is a key aspect for this market.
How is Digitain handling issues in Brazil, such as responsible gaming, advertising, and user protection?
We have a comprehensive suite of responsible gaming tools, allowing operators to configure player controls. Players can self-exclude, set timeouts, limit deposit amounts, and define stake values—all of which are fully customizable.
Even if responsible gaming is not the top priority now, it will become increasingly important in the future. As for challenges, we are aware of tax mitigation strategies and concerns regarding the expatriation of funds.
However, we plan to establish an office in Brazil soon, which will allow us to collaborate more effectively with local operators.
You mentioned both opportunities and challenges. Can you elaborate on that?
Brazil is a massive and exciting market with tremendous potential. It is still in its early stages, but we believe our diverse range of products will cater to players’ needs now and well into the future.
How do you see the future of the iGaming and sports betting market in Brazil?
iGaming will undoubtedly be the main revenue driver. Sports betting players tend to have high lifetime value and can be acquired cost-effectively.
While sports betting is not the primary focus at the moment, it will still have a significant place in the market. Overall, I believe the long-term prospects are very strong.
What are the most important products or services that Digitain presented to win in the Brazilian market?
As I mentioned earlier, Relum is our RGS aggregator, integrating content from some of the world’s biggest providers. It’s a one-stop shop where operators can plug in the RGS and immediately access a vast selection of games.
We also offer a PAM (Player Account Management) system, CRM solutions, affiliate software, and a sportsbook. Operators can choose a modular approach, selecting only specific solutions, or they can opt for a full turnkey solution.
