GMB - How has your experience at BiS SiGMA Americas been?
Celina Guedes - I am very happy to participate. EGT Digital has been a partner of SIGMA for a long time, and now with BiS SiGMA, the event becomes even more relevant, especially this year, which marks the first year of the regulated market in Brazil.
It is a valuable opportunity for us to connect with operators, regulators and providers, in addition to observing market trends. A very worthwhile meeting, I hope we can have it in all regions of Brazil to show that the regulated market is the basis.
What new things did EGT Digital present at this event?
We are one of the largest slot machine manufacturers in the world, having been in business for 23 years.
Our platform is highly versatile and offers several separate verticals, such as sports betting and content aggregation.
In addition, our games, such as the traditional "fruit games", are widely known in the world of physical casino games. We already have the trademark registered in Brazil, and we have a local support team. We believe it is essential for international companies to invest and produce in Brazil, generating economic development. We are excited about the opportunity to be part of this growth.
EGT is one of the few companies with a 360º approach, offering products for all operators in the sector. We have VLTs, games, online platforms and more, making us a reliable partner for operators, regulators and other providers. We believe that collaboration and unity among all players in the industry will result in profits and good results for everyone.
For this event in São Paulo, our goal is to reinforce EGT's name. This is our second participation, and we bring an even wider range of products, already adapted for the Brazilian market.
Our machines, with more than 50 translated and certified games, are ready to meet the needs of the market. Our online games are also available, with "branded games", and we have many customers already operating with our products. In just three months since the regulation, we are very advanced and ready to continue growing and supporting our customers.
How does EGT Digital use new technologies, such as AI, in its products?
EGT Digital is recognized for its cutting-edge technology. Our platform uses artificial intelligence for facial recognition, game recommendations and personalization of the user experience. AI is essential to offer specific products suited to each segment, improving the customer experience.
You mentioned the importance of convergence between providers, operators and payment method companies. Can you comment more on this?
Collaboration between these sectors is essential to consolidate the iGaming market. EGT Digital works closely with regulators and operators, promoting responsible practices and complying with regulations.
We believe that together we can strengthen the Brazilian market, offering solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Can you take stock of the first quarter of 2025 and share your perspectives for the rest of the year?
We are very pleased with the results. For the first time, we are considering assembling our machines in Brazil, adapting them to the local market. We will soon carry out a proof of concept for our lottery customers in Rio de Janeiro.
There are many exciting things to come, such as regulation. State regulations are moving forward, and EGT Digital is consolidating itself as a recognized brand in the market. We are already better known now than ever. We are confident in the rapid and sustainable growth of the sector. We are very happy that the sleeping giant has woken up.
