The English company has invested around R$90 million (US$15.5m) in the Brazilian market to work directly on the creation and development of platforms and providers for betting. The promise is to deliver a ready-to-operate equipment, with the structure and software know-how developed in the United Kingdom, in addition to all the support that goes from creation to financial and operational issues.
It is estimated that currently, to establish a small online betting company, without many customizations, only focused on popular sports, the initial investment package is around R$30 million (US$5.15m) to R$60 million (US$10.3m) per year.

According to the CEO of inplaySoft, the company's differential is the customization implemented with the platforms. "If the client chooses to invest in a specific market, we have the capacity to create specialized layouts, in addition to developing promotions to attract new consumers," he emphasizes, while highlighting that there are sports that have greater attention from the Brazilian public, such as football, responsible for 80% of bets in the country.
"But there is no formula. We are here to enhance the objectives set by the clients," adds the executive. The process of regulating betting houses in Brazil advanced in early 2025, after years of debate. There are 138 companies authorized to operate by the government.
However, there is still the challenge of detecting and sanctioning hundreds of companies that are still operating illegally. Meanwhile, the formalized market has contributed with fees and taxes, boosting the economy and also the job market.
Data from Michael Page, part of PageGroup, considered one of the world's largest players in specialized professional recruitment, shows that in the second half of 2024 alone, when Brazil was preparing to enter the regulated market, there was a 37% increase in the demand for new hires for the segment. The same consultancy reports that the peak in this first half of the year should be even higher.
