Flavia Vergili and Luciana Tadiello Nicoletti join Superbet to reinforce its leadership team

Superbet has two new additions to its leadership team in Brazil: Flavia Vergili takes over as HR director, while Luciana Nicoletti takes over as legal and compliance director. The hires are part of the brand's expansion in the country, with a focus on offering more technology and entertainment, in addition to ESG and Responsible Gaming actions.

Superbet is one of the leading sports betting platforms in Brazil, being the first to obtain a federal license to operate in a regulated manner. The company has been investing in major sponsorships and initiatives that bring the brand closer to the Brazilian public, which requires a solid foundation of governance and compliance to support this growth.

Strengthening the leadership team is part of this brand expansion in the country, with a focus on delivering more technology and entertainment, as well as ESG actions and Responsible Gaming initiatives.

Flavia Vergili is an HR specialist with over 15 years of experience in people management, organizational transformation, and corporate culture. She is known for her ability to restructure processes, implement systems, and align talent strategies with business objectives.

She has worked at companies such as Itaú BBA, ERM, CPFL, WeWork, VTEX, Banco Next, and Yalo, holding leadership roles such as VP of People and Chief People Officer, with a focus on talent strategy and organizational culture.

As the new HR Director, she brings her expertise to support Superbet’s new phase, fostering an innovative work environment that drives talent development.

"I come with the purpose of contributing to Superbet’s expansion and consolidation in Brazil, in an agile and inclusive way, reflecting the company’s accelerated growth phase. Our focus will be on developing talent and leadership aligned with our values, and ensuring we have the right people for Superbet," says Flavia Vergili.

With over two decades of experience in the legal sector, Luciana Tadiello Nicoletti also brings strategic expertise to the operation as Director of Legal and Compliance.

"Superbet has stood out for its governance and responsibility in the betting market. My mission is to continue strengthening this foundation, ensuring ethics, responsible gaming, and compliance across all areas," comments the new executive.

Luciana has built a solid career in law firms and multinational companies in Latin America, including IBM, Concentrix, and Samsung. She holds postgraduate degrees in Regulatory and Antitrust Law and Civil Procedural Law and has experience leading legal teams and implementing corporate programs, as well as serving on executive boards.

With 41% of leadership positions already held by women, these two new hires also reinforce the company’s commitment to investing in and believing in female leadership.

Superbet Group is a technology and entertainment company founded in 2008 in Romania, with a mission to provide sports and gaming entertainment. Present in 12 countries, Superbet has been operating in Brazil since 2023, being the first to obtain a federal license to operate fully regulated.
