In an exclusive interview with GMB, Senior Sales Manager Ivan Jovevski highlighted the product improvements, the importance of strategic alliances and the transformative role of AI in iGaming. GMB – What new features did DATA.Bet bring to this edition of BiS SiGMA Americas?

It’s always exciting for us to be at events like this because we consistently have something new to present. Our main goal wasn’t just to showcase the latest features and functions we’ve developed but also to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new ones. One of our key innovations is the significant upgrade to our iFrame solution, the SBA.

It’s now faster, more customizable than most on the market, and much more SEO-friendly. Additionally, we continue improving features that already work well—such as our widgets, bet builder, trading systems, and risk management. We have a lot to share and discuss with our partners at this event.

What were your goals for BiS SiGMA Americas in São Paulo?
Our main goal was to showcase our most recent innovations and, as I mentioned, engage with both current and potential partners. We want to deepen collaborations and maximize the value we can deliver. Events like this are a great opportunity to align strategies and move forward together.

 


What role do strategic alliances between providers, operators, and payment companies play in this market?
These alliances are essential—not only in Brazil but globally. They allow companies to enter and grow in local markets more effectively. For example, operators rely on suppliers to offer locally relevant sports betting markets or tournaments. In Brazil, that means tailoring offerings to local demand. Casino providers might create games with Brazilian themes and Portuguese-language interfaces.

Payment solutions are also critical, especially in regions with unique financial habits, as they ensure smooth transactions between operators and players. These partnerships are not just beneficial—they are the foundation of long-term success and consolidation in Brazil’s iGaming sector.

 



Are you localizing all your products, website, and content into Portuguese?
Yes, our website is now available in Portuguese, and our products are being offered not only in Portuguese but in all the languages of markets where we see growth potential or where we already operate with local brands. Localization is a key strategy for us.

Can you speak about the role of new technologies like AI. How is AI integration evolving in sports betting and eSports?
AI is transforming the iGaming industry on multiple levels. One of its most powerful applications is in personalization. AI-driven recommendation engines analyze player behavior to help operators offer personalized content, bonus programs, promotions, or even custom interfaces.

Beyond personalization, AI is crucial in identifying fraudulent or addictive behavior, making it an important tool for responsible gaming. It’s also enhancing trading, powering casino game development, and optimizing operations overall. Today, AI isn’t just a tool—it’s a competitive accelerator that helps companies maintain their edge and improve operational efficiency.

 



How do you evaluate DATA.BET’s performance during the first quarter of the year?
One of our main priorities is expanding our network of partners, and I can confidently say we’re making strong progress. We’re already in discussions with several promising new partners. On the product side, we continue refining the features that work well and are also introducing new solutions. Expanding our market coverage and improving our overall offering will remain our focus through the rest of the year.
