This is the fifth entity with which SPA signs a similar agreement, strengthening the prevention and fight against match-fixing intended to favor betting activities.
The first four ACTs had been signed in October 2024, all with entities whose monitoring work in the sector is globally recognized.
The agreement with IC360 will last for five years and may be expanded to cover new objectives. The entity has expertise in identifying suspicious betting patterns, helping to detect and contain attempts at match manipulation.
Like the other partner institutions, IC360 will exchange information with SPA about the betting market and assist in the training of Secretariat teams.
"Integrity entities like IC360 play a fundamental role in supporting SPA’s activities, especially in identifying signs of match-fixing, as well as in the structured exchange of information. With this agreement, both the Secretariat and its integrity partners enhance their monitoring and oversight capabilities, promoting greater security and transparency in the sector," said Regis Dudena, Secretary of Prizes and Betting.
He reaffirmed the Ministry of Finance’s commitment to the integrity of the betting market and the protection of the Brazilian sports environment.
IC360's Chief Operating Officer, Scott Sadin, considered it an honor to sign the agreement with SPA to enhance integrity awareness and monitoring capabilities in the Brazilian market. "The mission is to foster a culture of responsibility and to provide a detection alert system for all stakeholders, ensuring that integrity is respected and sustainable for the Brazilian community," he stated.
The agreement does not involve any transfer of funds or payments between the parties. The core purpose of the initiative is to strengthen the security of the entire system, protecting the betting market, sports, and society as a whole.
