GMB – In addition to showcasing a magnificent booth, what were the highlights for NGX at BiS SiGMA 2025?
Alexandre Tauszig – First, I want to apologize to everyone listening. My voice is hoarse and my health is a bit poor. And that’s because the expo was so good for us. I can say that the good news started even a day before the event. On the eve of the expo opening, during the SiGMA Awards, NGX was honored with the "Rising Star of the Year" award. For us, it is a source of great pride because it’s recognition for the work we've been doing over the past years. And our success was crowned the next day, when BiS SiGMA officially started, with the announcement of a tremendous partnership with one of Brazil’s leading sports betting and online gaming companies, Esportes da Sorte. We’d love for you to talk more about that, especially since the news broke at a time when all eyes were on the Brazilian iGaming market with the opening of the expo.
There were several cherries on top of the cake, and that was definitely one of them. Right as the event started, it was announced in the media that Esportes da Sorte Group had chosen NGX as the platform for its new brand to be launched later this year. So, we kicked off the expo with that award and this incredible news. We already knew it was going to be a fantastic show.

What new features or platform improvements did NGX present?
NGX is a platform fully prepared for the Brazilian market, fully compliant with regulations, and it has an amazing customization capacity. The recognition from such a major group choosing us was due, among other things, to our technology.
In other words, everything is fine-tuned and constantly adding new features?
More and more features, indeed. Just two months ago at the last expo, we announced the launch of an exclusive sports betting iframe in partnership with Sportradar, where they supply the data and provide all the security for NGX. For those who don’t know us, NGX releases a new version of our platform twice a month, each time with new functionalities.
You just mentioned the partnership with Sportradar. Would you say that partnerships are part of the DNA of our industry? Collaborating with game providers, payment methods providers, and companies like Sportradar with odds services, is it all part of building a more consolidated and sustainable iGaming market?
Beyond partnerships with all the providers you mentioned, I’d even say with competitors as well. I had the honor of being invited to participate in a panel at BiS SiGMA. It was a panel about platforms where I was both moderator and an active speaker. We discussed what the market expects in terms of technological trends for platforms. I was with incredible colleagues, and one major topic was how this ecosystem works better when everyone collaborates.
We are still in a market where, unfortunately, illegal gambling exists. Many operating in the market shouldn’t even be there. If platforms and technologies don’t partner up and align with regulation and seriousness, we won't progress the way we should. So, we have strong partnerships with many providers and even with competitors. We've helped many serious competitors overcome regulatory challenges.

Within the discussion you had in the panel, what trends could you point out as immediate, and what others might emerge in the future?
The biggest trend for the market is differentiation through the best user experience, because most platforms in the regulated market today offer the same features, the same game providers, the same odds providers—always the best. So, how will one platform stand out from another? By providing a superior customer experience: easier registration, gamification, an engaging process where users can quickly register, bringing in partners for promotions. If you don't have something that sets you apart by enhancing the user experience, you’ll be left behind. I believe that's the first big trend.
It’s not exactly a trend, but something important for Brazil: operators need to understand that they are lottery operators. The authorization granted in Brazil is for fixed-odds lottery betting. And lotteries are very serious. Lotteries involve a social purpose, strict regulations. Those who understand this will also differentiate themselves and advance further.
Speaking of lotteries, how is NGX’s division for VLTs (Video Lottery Terminals) performing in the states? How has that operation been?
The VLTs themselves aren’t exactly ours, but the solution is. We have VLT partnerships with various states, and some of our clients are already installing video lottery terminals in state lotteries where such equipment is allowed.

It's important to remember that being under the control of state lotteries means users are betting in a legal and responsible environment, right?
Responsible and legal. Not illegal folks, legal.
What are NGX’s plans for 2025 to continue growing in the Brazilian market?
The main plan now is to work hard, because at both the last expo we attended two months ago, the SBC Rio, and now here at BiS SiGMA in São Paulo, we secured many new partnerships with clients, both in Brazil and across Latin America. Now it’s time to work hard to make things happen and ensure these clients succeed in the market.
