For the past two years, digital influencer Daniel Fortune has been establishing himself as a reference in Responsible Gaming in Brazil. Now, he becomes the first influencer and affiliate in the iGaming sector to form an unprecedented partnership with EBAC.
Using simple, welcoming, and educational language, the influencer guides his followers responsibly, reinforcing EBAC's mission. At the end of 2024, Daniel traveled to Brasília, where he met with both the Deputy Secretaries of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) — Fabio Macorin, Raiana Falcão, and Daniela Olímpio — and with the General Coordinator of Betting Supervision, Renato Perez, as well as with the Vice President of the National Council for Advertising Self-Regulation (Conar), Juliana Albuquerque, to discuss Responsible Gaming and advertising in the iGaming market.
The idea is that, alongside Cristiano Costa, a psychologist and EBAC’s Director of Knowledge, Daniel will share tips on how to avoid falling into a whirlwind of anxiety and compulsive betting, focusing heavily on prevention to avoid reaching a compulsive stage.
"As influencers are very dynamic in communicating on social media, we will participate in live streams, create videos, and produce direct communication content focused on raising awareness about responsible gambling. The bonus is that affiliates have very close and instant communication with bettors, which facilitates the delivery of educational messages and tips for control and prevention," explains Cristiano Costa.
The initiative will function with a similar purpose to what is done with operators, aiming to generate more impact channels. In the case of betting operators, it is necessary for them to identify at-risk users or rely on the bettor’s self-assessment for an intervention to be initiated.
With the influencer, however, communication will be direct, with Daniel being provided a company link and a dedicated Telegram contact, so he can offer the necessary support should someone show signs of developing compulsive behavior.
"This partnership is a milestone for strengthening Responsible Gaming in Brazil. It’s very important to me that my audience has direct access to a serious company specialized in supporting and assisting bettors. This is my mission: to show that gaming can be a great source of entertainment, but only when accompanied by responsibility and awareness," states digital influencer Daniel Fortune.

Founded in 2023, the Brazilian Company for Compulsive Support (EBAC) is a reference in the sector for treating and supporting bettors. The organization offers free support services and is responsible for developing processes that include psychological assistance, screening, and referral to psychoeducational programs that can last up to eight weeks. During this period, users have access to technical information and many useful experiences to help overcome identified disorders.
