Metrópoles portal published first-hand that the striker was indicted by the PF in April of this year. The PF indicted Bruno Henrique and 10 other people for fraud in a sports competition.
According to the PF, these bettors are part of the second group that bet on Bruno Henrique's card. The first group is made up of the Flamengo player's brother, sister-in-law and cousin.
Who the bettors are and the amount invested:
* Douglas Ribeiro made two bets. In the first one, he bet R$64 (US$11) and won R$192 (US$34). In the second bet, Ribeiro invested R$150 (US$26) and received R$450 (US$80);
* Rafaela Cristina bet R$634 (US$113) and received R$192 (US$34);
* Claudinei Vitor placed R$600 (US$106) on the platform and received R$1,800 (US$320) back;
* Andryl Sales bet R$500 (US$89) and won R$1,500 (US$266).

Bruno Henrique's conversations with his brother
Investigators found on the cell phone of Bruno Henrique's brother, a Flamengo striker, an exchange of messages that implicate the player and place him directly linked to the betting scheme. The athlete was indicted for fraud and fraud in a sports competition.
The PF analyzed 3,989 conversations on Bruno Henrique's WhatsApp, many of which were empty or deleted — which, for investigators, may indicate that the striker deleted part of the records.
However, the agents seized the cell phone of the player's brother, Wander Nunes Pinto Júnior, and identified dialogues that show Bruno Henrique's involvement in the scheme to receive a yellow card during a match against Santos, valid for the 2023 Brazilian Championship.
In an exchange of messages on August 29, Wander – who was also the target of the PF operation in November of last year – questioned his brother about his suspension in the Brasileirão.
Advanced information
For the PF, the exchange of messages indicates that Bruno Henrique had given his brother advance information about receiving a yellow card in the match against Santos. For the investigators, one part caught their attention: the moment when Wander asks his brother if he “could stand to go until that date without receiving a yellow card”.
Henrique said that he would only receive the card if he “hit someone hard” and, in light of the information, Wander responded by saying that he would “save money”, supposedly to place the bet on the match between Flamengo and Santos. He also stated that it would be a “successful investment”.
