Athletic lets fans choose new kit in partnership with Faz1Bet

Athletic Club has launched a special campaign, together with main sponsor Faz1Bet, to select its new third kit. The choice of the jersey that the players will wear on the pitch is up to the supporters themselves. Fans of the ‘Esquadrão’ are invited to vote online for one of two exclusive designs.

The options highlight different moments in the history of the club and of São João del Rei:

* Gold Shirt – Pays tribute to Athletic’s origins and its hometown, evoking the gleam of Minas Gerais’ colonial era and the region’s importance during Brazil’s gold-rush period.

* Silver Shirt – Celebrates the present, marking the club’s first season in Série B of the Campeonato Brasileiro, a competition originally known as the ‘Taça de Prata’ (Silver Cup).

“The third-kit project was conceived with great care by our entire marketing team. Every detail reflects our passion for the sport and respect for the club’s history. We believe the supporters are the club’s greatest asset—so they should take part in this decision,” said Luis Henrique Ramos, CMO of Faz1Bet.

Voting is open until May 29, when the winning design will be announced. Fans can participate here.

The official unveiling of the new kit will take place on May 31 during the home match against Cuiabá in Série B. The game will also mark Athletic’s return to São João del Rei at Estádio Joaquim Portugal—Arena Sicredi—which has been expanded to meet CBF requirements and now holds 6,000 spectators.

To celebrate the debut in style, Faz1Bet is planning a series of match-day activations, including pre-game and in-game events. Highlights will feature a “bet-day” experience for fans, giant banners, and giveaway items, creating a true party atmosphere for those who helped choose the new kit.
