“Air Dice will certify new games in Brazil to attract more users for local operators”

In yet another prominent presence at events in Brazil, Air Dice, a leading Finnish online gaming provider, attended recent BiS SiGMA. LatAm Director Rocío Moitino spoke exclusively with GMB about the company’s plans. “We are growing in the country with the certifications of our games and we want to present a huge additional portfolio to the regulator to delight users and ensure the success of our partner operators,” she assured.

Air Dice, a leading Finland-based developer and provider of online casino games, recently participated in BiS SiGMA Americas to showcase some of its new offerings and strategic plans for Brazil’s newly regulated iGaming market.

Known for its engaging line of slot and dice games, the company has been forming several partnerships in Brazil—both with platform providers like Weebet and prominent local operators such as Superbet.

At the event, Air Dice not only presented its game portfolio but also brought two professionals from its game development team to Brazil. Their goal was to get closer to the market and better understand Brazilian players’ preferences firsthand, with the aim of creating games that resonate with local tastes and meet operators’ expectations.

According to Rocío Moitino, Air Dice's Latin America Director, the company is fully focused on the Brazilian market due to its immense potential. “Our games are being certified in batches according to our partners' demand, and soon we will also be developing content with Brazilian themes. Furthermore, we will soon present more games to Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) for certification,” she stated.

The company is already legally established in São Paulo, and the next step is to define the location of a future office in Brazil. Air Dice already has a team led by an account manager based in Rio de Janeiro.

During the event, Rocío Moitino participated in a panel discussion on the impact of Brazil’s regulated iGaming market. She highlighted the high certification costs and the need to localize content for the Brazilian audience.

According to her, these challenges have caused delays in game certifications and limited the number of titles available to operators. However, she remains optimistic that everything will soon be aligned to boost Air Dice's growth in Brazil.

GMB – What are Air Dice’s new developments, and what were your goals in attending BiS SiGMA Americas?
Rocío Moitino – We have several updates. We are continuously growing in Brazil with the proper certification of our games and learning a lot from the new regulated market. At this event, we were fortunate to bring two professionals from our game development team to gain deeper insights into what Brazilian clients want. Our focus and interest in this market are strong, and they came specifically to create games more aligned with Brazil’s cultural DNA.

So, will we soon see Air Dice games with Brazilian themes?
Yes. We will continue certifying more of the games already in our portfolio. Naturally, since our goal is to grow in Brazil, we also want to deliver what the clients are looking for. That’s why it’s essential to bring people here so they can meet each operator—each with their own needs—and learn what they expect from us. That way, we can offer the best of our creative capabilities.

How important is collaboration among game providers, developers, operators, and payment systems in building a sustainable and consolidated iGaming ecosystem that contributes to the economy?
I’ve always believed it’s extremely important. All the different verticals within the industry are essential. It’s vital to understand that a platform needs operators, game providers, payment methods. Having a global perspective and working together undoubtedly builds greater trust for our clients, the operators, and also for the end user. Being aligned and able to work transparently and reliably together always helps us reach the ultimate goal we all share.

You previously mentioned to GMB the company’s growth plans, including new hires. How is that progressing?
Yes, our hiring efforts are aligned with our growth. Naturally, that growth requires more staff and more resources. We’re expanding throughout Latin America, and Brazil deserves special attention because it’s such a large market, with many clients and a high workload. That’s why we’re investing in establishing a physical presence here.

When will the new office be opened, and where will it be located?
We don’t know the exact location yet. Right now, we have an account manager who lives in Rio, and our legal entity is in São Paulo. We’re still analyzing different strategies and operational needs. But one thing is certain: Brazil will have an office because we need it.
