According to Banese, the online games section is being restructured and will be back in operation soon. The questions arose during a session of the Sergipe Legislative Assembly, held on Wednesday (28), when parliamentarians criticized the games available on the platform, including the "Jogo do Tigrinho" (Fortune Tiger).
In response, the state governor, Fábio Mitidieri, asked the bank's president to immediately remove the 'Tigrinho' game from the platform, which was complied with on Wednesday.
Banese president Marco Antônio Queiroz stated that, given the doubts raised, the game will not be reactivated, although it falls under the legal category of online games. He emphasized that the state has authorization to operate a full lottery, which includes these modalities.
The Public Services Regulatory Agency of the State of Sergipe (Agrese) reported, in a note, that “all types of games and products submitted for authorization by LoteSE were analyzed in strict compliance with the requirements of federal and state laws.”
