“Game tokenization by BetConstruct will attract more players and increase operators’ profits”

BetConstruct highlighted its global strength and focus on the Brazilian iGaming market during recent BiS SiGMA. Proud to have won three awards at the event, Regional Director Beatriz Melges welcomed GMB for an exclusive interview and highlighted the Ortak platform, an innovation that allows players to invest in games, sharing profits with operators. The company is also increasingly consolidating itself as a game aggregator adapted to the regulated market.

 

GMB – What were the new developments and what goals did BetConstruct have at BiS SiGMA?
Beatriz Melges – This year, our main goal is to consolidate the brand, and our presence at BiS SiGMA was to showcase our global structure, but with an increasingly local focus. We are very happy because we won three awards at this edition of SiGMA, which is a great joy for the group. In addition, we launched new products.
 


And what are these new developments?
One of them is our Ortak platform. It enables tokenization through casino games — something innovative, like an IPO for games. The operator selects a percentage of the game to open up to players, allowing them to invest. So, when the game profits, the player profits as well. It’s a user-focused product that is also very beneficial for operators, as it becomes a new acquisition channel.

So, “I’m also the owner of the game”?
Exactly. You are the owner of the game. We are not just creating a product for the operator but one that is centered on the user, who benefits from it. For the operator, the more users profit, the more new players they will attract. It’s an excellent acquisition tool.
 


BetConstruct has also stood out as a game aggregator. Can you tell us more about that?
Yes, in addition to being a platform provider, we are major aggregators. We work with our own games and with many partners, offering customized programs, promotions, specific casino tables, and slots — all tailored for the Brazilian market. This BiS SiGMA has been essential in strengthening those partnerships.

How has the adaptation to the regulated market been for BetConstruct?
We went through many challenges, but now, after the adjustments at the beginning of the regulated market, we are reaping the rewards. Since the end of March, our numbers have been growing, the number of clients is increasing, and friction has been eliminated. We’re more assertive in our business strategies and have a product that is well-adjusted for Brazil.
 


What’s coming next from BetConstruct?
The focus for 2025 is to consolidate our brand in Brazil, showcasing the full potential of our group to the Brazilian audience. We’ve worked hard on major adjustments and are now in the fine-tuning phase to achieve that goal.
