GingaBet launches campaign with Vila Nova during the encouraging blood donation month

In ‘Junho Vermelho’ (Red June), the month dedicated to encouraging blood donation, Vila Nova's master sponsor GingaBet will lead a campaign along with the club. With the hashtag “Nosso Vermelho Salva”, the initiative will be featured on the team's shirt and aims to mobilize fans and other people around the cause. The goal is to collect 500 bags of blood and those who participate will win tickets to the club's home matches during the period.

As part of the initiative, the club’s sponsor will forgo displaying its logo on the team’s jersey during the campaign and will instead feature the campaign’s hashtag. During this period, the club will also stop wearing its traditional red kit—praised by fans—and will play in white as a way to support the cause.

“The campaign reinforces GingaBet’s commitment to social causes with real impact, aiming to go beyond sports to help save lives. With this goal in mind, we decided to give up having our logo displayed on Vila Nova’s uniform to give visibility to the initiative. We want to mobilize people to make a concrete difference,” said André Baldavira, head of marketing at GingaBet.

The campaign has been present on Vila Nova’s kit since this Monday (9), when the team, dressed in white, played away against Criciúma in Brazil’s Série B Championship. Blood donations can be made at the Goiás Hemocenter, which is prepared to receive volunteers throughout the month.
 


Those who donate blood can request a receipt and present it at the club’s official store at Estádio OBA to receive a free ticket to the team’s home matches during the month.

The initiative led by the sponsor is also active on social media. Last Sunday (8), GingaBet launched the campaign on its official channels with a video encouraging blood donation.

With the largest main sponsorship deal in Vila Nova’s history, GingaBet has introduced innovative ideas in the market, such as the ‘Tigrão na pele’ (Tiger in the skin) campaign, which rewarded ten fans who tattooed Vila Nova’s crest with free match tickets. In addition to sponsoring Vila Nova, GingaBet also supports Paysandu in Pará and Ponte Preta in São Paulo.
