Lottopar makes final call for its “Safe, Responsible and Sustainable Gaming in Lotteries" seminar

Registrations for the International Seminar that will take place in Foz do Iguaçu, between June 24 and 26, close on Tuesday (18) this week. Organized by the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (Cibelae), with support from the World Lottery Association (WLA) and hosted by Lottopar, the congress “Safe, Responsible and Sustainable Gaming in Lotteries' proposes a comprehensive agenda focused on institutional strengthening, innovation and sustainability.

The meeting is sponsored by GLI, PayBrokers, IGT, Scientific Games, Playtech and Shift. The topics discussed at the event include:

* Combating illegal gambling.

* WLA Responsible Gaming Certifications.

* Artificial Intelligence applied to digital games.

* Product design with a responsible approach.

* Ethical and sustainable advertising with a focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.

* Prevalence studies in Latin America.

* Education and measurement tools for players.

International leaders, experts and authorities present at the event

To date, presidents and executives of more than 30 lotteries and regulatory bodies from Latin America, the United States and Asia have confirmed their participation, including 10 presidents of state lotteries in Brazil.

In addition, confirmed government authorities include:

Regis Dudena – Secretary of Prizes and Betting of the Federal Government.

Daniel Romanowski – President of the Paraná Lottery (Lottopar).

Andreas Kötter – President of the WLA.

Javier Milián – President of Cibelae and the National Lottery of El Salvador.

Esmeralda Britton – First Vice President of Cibelae and President of the Social Protection Council of Costa Rica.

Alfonso Galiano Martínez – Director of Business Strategy, Marketing and International Affairs at ONCE (Spain).

Other lottery representatives who are members of Cibelae's Board of Directors will also be present, as well as coordinators of the Responsible Gaming, Anti-Money Laundering, Technology and Legal Affairs committees.

Foz do Iguaçu: strategic headquarters with a sustainable commitment

The host city, Foz do Iguaçu, is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Brazil, known worldwide for the Iguaçu Falls. In addition, the state of Paraná was recognized by the OECD as the most sustainable state in the world for the fourth consecutive year, in line with the principles of the seminar.
