Esportes Gaming Brasil launches internal program to strengthen Responsible Gaming

Esportes Gaming Brasil, the group responsible for the Esportes da Sorte and Onabet brands, held the “Learning to Protect” Responsible Gaming Program last June 17 - 19. The training involved 100% of the internal team with a focus on ethical and conscious corporate culture. With support from IAA and EBAC, the initiative reinforces the company's ethical culture and is part of a series of ongoing training sessions on the topic.

Experts from the Instituto de Apoio ao Apostador (IAA) and the Empresa Brasileira de Apoio ao Compulsivo (EBAC) conducted practical workshops on preventing gambling addiction, promoting conscious gaming, and handling sensitive situations in daily operations. All content was based on scientific evidence, case studies, and internationally recognized user protection protocols.

The project reinforces our commitment to constant development and responsibility in the sector in which we operate. We want each employee to act as an active agent in promoting responsible gaming, positively impacting customers, partners and the market itself,” says Sophia Serak, Director of People at Esportes Gaming Brasil.

By training employees to identify risk behaviors and offer appropriate guidance, the initiative increases customer safety, aligns the operation with the best global Responsible Gaming practices and strengthens an internal culture of compliance and sustainability.

We take care of responsible gaming on a daily basis, both internally with our employees and with our consumers. Being linked to reference entities such as the IAA and EBAC reinforces our commitment to the best practices in the sector,” comments Ana Carolina Maçães, Compliance Manager at Esportes Gaming Brasil.

Esportes Gaming Brasil

Esportes Gaming Brasil is one of the main groups in the betting sector in the country, with 100% national operations and an official license granted by the Ministry of Finance, through SPA/MF. The authorization covers its two brands: Esportes da Sorte and Onabet, which operate throughout Brazil.

A leader in innovation and a defender of market regulation, the group's pillars are its commitment to responsible gaming and continuous investment in technologies for user control and well-being.

With hundreds of jobs created, its operations go beyond betting: it supports projects in the areas of sports and culture, such as the Corinthians, Ceará, Ferroviária and Náutico clubs, as well as highly visible initiatives such as Galo da Madrugada, the Recife and Olinda Carnival and the Parintins Festival.

Onabet, in turn, expands the group's digital reach with creative campaigns and partnerships with influencers, strengthening the connection with the public on online platforms.
