Greater commitment to integrity in the betting market

Esportes Gaming Brasil announces Ana Carolina Luna Maçães as new Compliance Manager

With the aim of reinforcing its ongoing commitment to integrity practices, corporate ethics and governance, Esportes Gaming Brasil, a group comprised of the companies Esportes da Sorte and Onabet, is strengthening its Compliance area. Ana Carolina Luna Maçães takes over as the new manager of the sector to expand the company's capacity to meet the demand for increasingly higher standards of transparency and accountability.

More than just complying with and supporting regulations, Esportes Gaming Brasil has actively led the process of maturing the betting sector in the country. Our commitment to governance has been an essential part of our business model since the beginning. The arrival of Ana Carolina represents a strategic reinforcement, which further strengthens the culture of compliance that has always guided the company,” explains Darwin Filho, CEO of the group.

A lawyer with a solid track record in compliance, corporate governance and data protection, Ana Carolina brings a consolidated background in topics such as prevention of financial crimes, responsible gaming and business ethics. The professional has worked for companies in the online gambling and casino market, such as NSX Brasil, and holds recognized certifications, such as the CPC-A from LEC (Legal, Ethics & Compliance).

In recent years, the group has stood out for its concrete actions in favor of responsible gambling, such as the implementation of self-exclusion tools, active monitoring of risky behavior, educational campaigns on responsible gambling, specialized training of customer service teams and partnerships with entities that combat gambling addiction.

We are not adapting to the market; we are helping to shape it with responsibility, security and a long-term vision,” adds the CEO.

Esportes Gaming Brasil is one of the main groups in the gambling sector in the country, with 100% Brazilian operations and official authorization from the Ministry of Finance, through a license granted by SPA/MF to operate throughout the national territory. The license covers the group's two companies: Esportes da Sorte and Onabet.

Recognized for its pioneering role in actively defending market regulation, the group also stands out for its commitment to responsible gaming practices. In addition, it invests in the development of tools and control mechanisms that help users maintain a balanced routine of entertainment and fun.

Employing hundreds of people, its contribution to society goes beyond the betting sector, through sponsorship of projects in the areas of sports and culture. In football, Esportes da Sorte sponsors traditional Brazilian clubs, such as Corinthians, Ceará, Ferroviária and Náutico.

In the events and entertainment segment, the brand also has a strong presence in the largest and most relevant projects in the country, such as Galo da Madrugada and Carnaval de Recife.

Onabet, in turn, expands the group's digital presence with campaigns and creative content developed in partnership with relevant influencers, consolidating its connection with the public on online platforms.
