Today, 28 talented athletes proudly wear Juventude’s colors, receive top-tier training, and have the opportunity to build long-lasting careers in the sport they love. The team currently competes in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A1, alongside the 16 best women’s teams in the country.
Thomas Carvalhaes, Country Manager at Stake Brasil, stated: “This partnership is not just about visibility. We built this collaboration to create value for the club, its athletes, and society as a whole.”
Currently, only four players are from Rio Grande do Sul. The team is a true microcosm of Brazil — a continental country — with players hailing from 10 different states.
Renata, a 31-year-old goalkeeper from Vidal Ramos, Santa Catarina, is a clear example of the transformative power of Juventude’s support. Coming from a family of onion farmers, she now lives her childhood dream, inspires other women, and supports her family through football.

“My childhood dream was to become a football player. Even out in the fields, I was always playing with a ball,” Renata shared.
Kamile, like Renata, is another standout talent reflecting the remarkable growth of women’s football in Brazil.
“The growth of women’s football has been huge — and amazing. A few years ago, girls didn’t even have official contracts. Now everything is paid on time, and we have great infrastructure. Here at Juventude, we can make a living from this. And from now on, I think it’ll only get better,” says Kamile, the team’s top scorer.

The team doesn’t just develop players — it nurtures and empowers them. As explained by Renata Armiliato, Coordinator of the Women’s Football Department at Juventude: “The reality has changed. One of the reasons I got into football management was to provide what I didn’t have myself.”
That’s what drives me: to make sure these girls have quality of life, that football becomes a real profession — not just a childhood dream.
The partnership between Stake and Juventude is more than financial support — it's a story of social and emotional impact. It’s a joint effort to promote female empowerment through sports.
Diana Otalora, LATAM Manager at Stake, adds: “When we build partnerships, we want to see teams thrive. In a sport where women have worked so hard to carve out space, witnessing real progress and life-changing opportunities is what makes these collaborations flourish. At Stake, we’re proud to see Juventude’s women’s team living their passion and gaining the recognition they deserve.”

Why cheer for Juventude?
